Large crowd gathers usually every year for ten-day Ganesh Mahotsav for Darshan of Lalbaugcha Raja. Apparently 5:55 lakh devotees visit daily for Darshan Mahotsav, usually forming a line that goes up to eight kilometers.
This day is also known as Vinayak Chaturthi or Vinayak Chavithi in many parts of the country. In 2011 Lalbaugcha Raja attracts many visitors both online and in person. Meanwhile, security around the event Lalbaugcha Raja Temple also been tightened up with 1500 Mumbai police and 5,000 private guards in Mandal.
