Joshua Winslow "Josh" Groban was born 27 1981 February, is an American singer-songwriter, musician, actor and record producer. His four solo albums have been certified in at least multi-platinum, and in 2007 he was appointed as the number one best-selling artist in the U.S. with over 21 million records in this country.
Groban's second album Closer, produced and written by Foster, was released on 11 November 2003. Groban said he believed that this second album was a better reflection of him and that his audience would be able to get a better idea of his personality by listening to it.
In late 1998, the 17-year-old Groban was introduced by his vocal coach to Grammy-winning producer / arranger David Foster and future manager, Brian Avnet. Within Groban had no recording experience and was ready to begin to study at Carnegie Institute of Technology. The fourth March 2011, Groban filled in for Regis Philbin on Live with Regis and Kelly, where he interviewed Heather Locklear and Latoya Jackson performed "Higher Window" from his latest CD, "Illuminations". 15, April 2011, Groban performed on The Late Late Show in Ireland, which is the longest running talk show in the world.
