American Film And Television Actress, Gina Gershon Biography
Gina L. Gershon (born June 10, 1962) is an American film and television actress, known for her roles in the films Cocktail (1988), Showgirls (1995) and Bound (1996).
Biography
Personal life
Gershon was born in Los Angeles, California, the daughter of Mickey (née Koppel), an interior decorator, and Stan Gershon, who worked in import/export business and sales. Gershon is Jewish, and French, and has a brother, Daniel, and a sister, Tracy. She attended Beverly Hills High School with Lenny Kravitz. She then went on to attend Emerson College with the likes of comedians Denis Leary and Mario Cantone. Career
Gershon is regarded as a gay icon due to her roles in movies such as Bound (in which she played a butch lesbian) and Showgirls (which is regarded as a camp classic). She was ranked #51 on the Maxim Hot 100 Women of 2004.
Gershon played Jew's harp on "I Can't Decide", a song on the Scissor Sisters 2006 release Ta-Dah. She also played Jew's harp on the song "I Do It For Your Love", Paul Simon's collaboration with Herbie Hancock on Hancock's "Possibilities" CD. On television, she has recurring roles on HBO's Curb Your Enthusiasm (as a Hasidic drycleaner), Rescue Me, and the U.S. dramedy series Ugly Betty (as Italian cosmetics mogul Fabia, the rival of Wilhelmina Slater).

Emmy Award Winning Actress By The Age Of Sixteen Kristy McNichol
An Emmy Award-winning actress by the age of sixteen. An international superstar by the age of twenty. And a washed-up star on the verge of a comeback at the age of twenty-six. Kristy McNichol had lived a full life before she even knew what it all really meant. By the time she reached her thirties, it was no wonder she was ready for a break.
Born Christina Ann McNichol in Los Angeles on September 11, 1962, Kristy and her brother Jimmy began acting in commercials as toddlers. At the age of twelve, Kristy landed her first regular acting gig, as a replacement for another actress in the role of Patricia Apple on the short-lived TV series Apple's Way. But it was her role on the 70s series Family that would put her on the map.
By the end of its rocky four-year run, Family earned Kristy two Emmys and national fame. Quick to overcome typecasting, she followed the end of her television role with a blockbuster feature debut in the movie Little Darlings. The film would earn her a Young Artist Award nomination for best young actress as well as a place on the cover of just about every teen magazine on the market.
Kristy did equally well in her follow-up movie, Only When I Laugh. Written by Neil Simon, the drama paired Kristy with Oscar-nominated actress Marsha Mason and helped Kristy land a Golden Globe nomination.
The Night the Lights Went Out in Georgia was released with the expectations of becoming a hit. But somewhere along the way the film fell flat with critics and audiences. 1982's White Dog met a similar fate. The film about a woman who unknowingly takes on a dog that has been trained to attack African-Americans was so controversial, it never received domestic distribution. It was released in Europe in 1982 and quickly vanished.
It was soon after this that Kristy's world began falling apart.
If anything could have propelled Kristy's career forward, it was a megaproduction like The Pirate Movie. Hot off the hit The Blue Lagoon, Christopher Atkins was set to be the next big heartthrob. The studio poured money into the production, making it the most expensive movie ever filmed in Australia, but critics and audiences weren't impressed. In fact, The Pirate Movie is still considered one of the worst movies of all time by some but in recent years it has been given it an almost cult-like status. The year of its release, however, it swept the Razzies, winning worst director and worst musical score as well as receiving nominations for worst actor (Atkins), worst actress (McNichol), and worst film.

Despite numerous reports, Angelina Jolie did not give birth last week, which means Jon Voight is not a yet a grandfather again. But that doesn't mean he's not excited for impending grandparenthood.
“The babies haven’t come yet but am I looking forward to it, yes I am,” he told OK! at the MTV Movie Awards.

“Have you ever taken care of baby twins? It’s a deal isn’t it? It’s a huge deal,” he says. “You’ve just got two kids and if one starts crying then you starting taking that one and then the other one – oh boy, you have to be young and strong to take care of twins.”

Kimbo Slice Pictures, Biography and News
Kevin Ferguson (born on February 8, 1974), better known as Kimbo Slice, is a Miami, Florida-based street fighter turned mixed martial arts (MMA) fighter. He first appeared in several filmed underground fights which have spread primarily on the Internet. Kimbo has since left street fighting behind and is now putting his efforts towards becoming a professional mixed martial arts fighter. Rolling Stone called Slice "The King of the Web Brawlers".
Pre-MMA
Ferguson was a star defensive football player for Miami Palmetto High School in the Pinecrest area of Miami, Florida. In college, he went on to the University of Miami on academic scholarship, but did not play football. He was there for only a year and a half.
As Kimbo Slice, Ferguson worked as a bodyguard for RK Netmedia, a Miami-based pornography production/promotion company responsible for a number of popular adult subscription websites, such as MILF Hunter. Kimbo still maintains close ties with the company who now accompanies him, as his fight entourage before entering the ring.
MMA career
Kimbo Slice began his career in unsanctioned street fights, trained by retired MMA fighter Bas Rutten. A notable street fight was with Sean Gannon, a former Boston Police officer who trains in MMA. Gannon was able to achieve victory over Slice giving him his first defeat. The popularity of the fight, which was distributed throughout the internet, propelled both men into the MMA spotlight.
Slice made his sanctioned MMA debut against former WBO Heavyweight champion boxer Ray Mercer at Cage Fury Fighting Championships 5, in Atlantic City on June 23, 2007. The match was scheduled as a three-round exhibition utilizing all professional rules of MMA combat. Slice defeated Mercer with a guillotine choke at 1:12 into the first round. In a post-fight interview, Slice stated that he would like to fight David "Tank" Abbott. Abbott, who was a spectator, stood up from his seat and accepted the call out. One of the matchmakers for CFFC asked Slice for his assurance so that an October 12 bout at Cage Fury Fighting Championships 6 between Slice and "Tank" Abbott could be organized. This event was later canceled due to a promotion dispute. On October 11, 2007, ProElite announced that they had signed Slice to a deal and that he would make his debut on the November 10, 2007 EliteXC. Originally set to make his professional MMA debut against Mike Bourke, the reformed street fighter was set to face Bo Cantrell after Bourke sustained a shoulder injury. Kimbo defeated Cantrell 19 seconds into the first round by submission due to strikes.
Slice will be featured on The Iron Ring, a new television series airing on BET which features MMA prospects. Slice will be a part of the selection process for the participants.
On February 16, 2008, Kimbo fought Tank Abbott in the main event at EliteXC: Street Certified. He won by KO 43 seconds into the first round due to strikes. At the fight his weight was announced at an all-time low of 234lbs, a far cry from his street fighting days of 280lbs.
On May 31, 2008, Kimbo fought in the main event of the first ever mixed martial arts event shown on prime time network television, EliteXC: Primetime. Kimbo's opponent James Thompson won the first two rounds on total points, although one judge had each fighter winning a round and even points, by repeatedly taking down Slice and grounding and pounding. In the opening seconds of the third round, Kimbo threw a haymaker to Thompson's left ear, which ruptured his cauliflower. This was soon followed by three unanswered punches to a standing Thompson, which led to a referee stoppage.
Personal life
Slice currently lives with his family in Miami, and is the father of six children: three girls and three boys. His first two sons are named Kevin, and the third is named Kevlar. His three daughters are named Kassandra, Kiara, & Kevina.

Tatum O'Neal To Check Into Rehab
The former child star, who chronicled her recovery from a heroin addiction in her 2004 book A Paper Life, was arrested by police on Sunday night, after she was spotted by a narcotics team exchanging money with a man three blocks from her home in the Big Apple.
According to the New York Daily News, the actress "laughed and chatted" her way through her arraignment at Manhattan Criminal Court on Monday, just hours after she tried to plead her way out of her arrest.
O'Neal's lawyer refused Criminal Court Judge Felicia A. Mennin's offer for the 44-year-old actress to sit through two days of drug counselling in favour of finding a rehab programme suitable for the star.
A law enforcement source says: "She's going to go to her own, high-priced, out-of-the-spotlight rehab to get clean - again."
The daughter of screen star Ryan O'Neal, who at age 10 was the youngest person ever to win an Oscar, entered no plea and was released on her own recognisance.
She is next due in court on 28 July.

Zac Efron Talks High School Musical 3
The actor – who bagged a best breakthrough performance going for his role as heartthrob Link Larkin in Hairspray at Sunday's MTV Movie Awards – reveals that all is going smoothly on the third installment of the hit Disney franchise.
"When I got there everyone was calm, collected. They were working really hard," Efron tells People.
He also insists that it's business as usual, despite the fact that HSM3 will be a big screen feature rather than a TV movie, like the previous two outings.
"It felt like the first two movies all over again. We just kind of can't go wrong with Kenny Ortega as our director and leader and our great cast and crew. We've got no squabbles to get through," he says.
But that's not to say the cast and crew aren't going for bigger and better this time round.
Says Efron, "Everything's been stepped up a few notches, all the dances, and I think the songs are pretty catchy this time around. And it's our senior year, so we've got graduation and prom to look forward to. All fun things to have in a movie."
